Cang Xingrong was the first of the kids to get a hold of his senses. “Xiao Ye wants water? I-I’ll go get some!” With that, he scurried off to get a jug of water, quickly returning with the corners of his lips practically pulled so far that they touched his ears.

“Xiao Ye’s awake? Goodness, you’re awake! Are you feeling better?” Also stationed at his son’s bedside, a flustered Cang Fucheng called out. Then, extending a hand, he felt his youngest’s forehead.
Fortunately, he did. He was again lucky and able to come back to life.
